Interactional Shorthand Structure
ISS
A sparse cue can carry a history that is not present in its words alone.
What it means
ISS names the compressed structure that develops when goals, corrections, values, boundaries, and successful interpretations accumulate across repeated interaction. The shorthand is not merely a shorter prompt. Its meaning depends on the trajectory through which the participants learned to use it.
What it does
Within HRIS, ISS is the retrieval surface for an established interactional regime. It supplies compact cues capable of reactivating a larger organization of constraints.
What would test it
Does the same cue reconstruct the expected regime more faithfully after a relevant interaction history than it does in a naive or false-history condition?
